Influence of Scaling Cognition On Life Style and Oral Health Belief for Adults
Kim Jung-Sool

Abstract
The purpose of this study was investigated that effect on scaling cognition between life style and oral health belief for adults. For the survey, we chosen 270 subjects living in Ulsan, Pusan cities during from July 1 to July 31, 2015. Total questionnaire were composed of total 270 and they were selected by convenience sampling method. To determine the influence of scaling cognition on life style and oral health belief, SPSS ver.18 and AMOS ver.18 was used. As a result of making structural equation modeling, knowledge of scaling were statistically significant to the life style and oral belief (P<0.05), excepting susceptibility (P>0.05). Attitude of scaling were statistically significant to the life style and oral belief (P<0.05), both were not statistically significant to the life style and oral belief (P>0.05). About the cognition question1 during scaling, life style was not statistically significant (P>0.05) but oral belief was statistically significant (P<0.05) excepting susceptibility and seriousness (P>0.05). To the cognition question2 during scaling, life style was not statistically significant (P>0.05) but oral belief was statistically significant (P<0.05) excepting susceptibility (P>0.05). Also, cognition question3 and 4 were not statistically significant. In these results, we recommend that dentists have to treat the cavities with an adequate explanation.
